Last term my class and I made a Taonga or a Treasure which is a symbol of something real and important to us. My teacher Mrs Agnew gave my class and I some clay and I decided to made koru shape on top of a heart and also a double infinity treasure After we made our Taonga we had to make a hole in them for string to go through. We let them over the holidays. Right after the holidays I painted it green and then Mrs Yumul glued my Taonga to a hessian shape. To me my Taonga means great friendship to friends and my love for my family.
