My Superhero
We have been looking at the first teaser for the Summer Holiday Journey and we had to create a superhero and share strengths, enemies and powers. This is mine.
Real or Fake?
Today we were learning to be observant when we see different media, Room 6 watched a video about a house hippo and thought what we already know about hippos and we asked our self did this make sense? We talked about if these pictures are real or fake. This photo tricked some of the Room 6 and I chose fake but the app said it was real. I was a little angry. This is so cool, you guys should do this with your parents! Stay safe.
‘Classroom Mystery’ film recommendation
I would recommend Classroom Mystery because I enjoyed this movie with lots of different film shots. It was so funny when my brother tripped his friend.
How to write an email
Today we were learning how to write a good email and before you open an email you have to look at the person’s name and see if you know them. We then have to make sure to greet people and write clearly about the topic. After signing off I need to proofread it and make sure I have to stick to the subject and say positive words.
What does your digital footprint say about you?
Today room 6 learnt about saying kind words about people’s profile and show Aroha, Tika, Pono and be positive online.
My Digital Footprint
Today we were learning about digital footprints and being respectful and positive online we need to make sure if we are saying too much information and check if what you are saying is safe.
If we are not sure we ask adults.
Working with shape to make a house.
Today Mrs Grant came into our class to teach us more cool Cybersmart shortcuts. She taught us about shapes and how to move them around and make things. This is my house I made. Can you guess the shapes I used?
Learning how to use a touch pad
- On Wednesday morning we had a teacher come into room 6 and her name is Mrs Grant. Mrs Grant showed us how to use the touch pad. I finished before Mrs Grant left. We were talking about the touch pad and Mrs Agnew helped my friends and I. I enjoyed the activities we learned and I hope I can use them in my other work one day.
