Last Thursday morning, Room 6 and Room 7 had to go and sit on the benches near the bottom court and there were these pretty girls named Stephanie and Lucy. Lucy told us about the alphabet standing for words we need to remember when checking a bike for safety. She said it was A B C D D Q and Room 7 And Room 6 were confused. Actually they mean A- air, B- brakes, C – chain, D- direction, D- drop test, Q- quick release lever. Right after they told us about the safety of a helmet.
Stephanie told us to grab a bike so we did and then she told us to go down the bottom court and ride, so Lucy was our teacher. Then we had to ride around the court for a warm up and it was kind of like red light, green light but in a circle. The first game we played was fun because if you put your feet on the ground you’re out. Then one of the Room 7 won and then we played again but instead Lucy played but she won but at least we all tried our best.
The bell rang so then we ate some delicious fruits and our yummy lunches and had a play down on the bottom court again. After the bell rang for bike time again! I was so excited for biking time so then Lucy sorted the bikes and gave them back to all of us and we did a warm up again. We played the box game which is like when teams do sign signals like look, hands and look again and use the brakes when you’re in the box. We played again! After that we had one last free bike ride and then we had to pack up. It was so much fun.
